About Oregon Medical Training

Oregon Medical Training, a local private career school, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our wonderful team. Oregon Medical Training, was established in 2004 as a private career school offering phlebotomy instruction in the Eugene-Springfield area. Over the last decade, the school has changed its name and expanded to include a campus in Bend as well as adding EKG Technician and Pharmacy Technician courses. Oregon Medical Training is a locally owned and operated private career school that is licensed by the Oregon Department of Education’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) that offers National Healthcareer Association (NHA) approved programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for enrolling clients after determining eligibility

  • Create and send invoices to students via QuickBooks

  • Independently work at the office headquarters by providing administrative support, resolving complaints and special requests

  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails and fax papers, and mail paperwork

  • Innovate the website and polish any digital content used to engage an audience

  • Develop marketing strategies to boost enrollment and partner with financial programs to help assist students with financial challenges

  • Conduct career advising workshops and attend career fairs

  • Data entry of annual student collection, application renewals and advisory committee meetings

  • Advertise unique posters on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent

  • At least one year of office experience is a plus

  • At least one year of experience with QuickBooks is a plus
