What COVID-19 protocols do we have?
March 14, 2022
CDC is shortening the recommended time for isolation for people with COVID-19 to five days. If the individual is asymptomatic or their systems are resolving (without a fever for 24 hours), CDC is recommending individuals to wear a mask for five days when around others to minimize the risk of infection.
We are asking our students to stay home if they're sick or revealing any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms. Every student is asked to isolate if they're not feeling well, and we encourage they take the necessary steps to seek medical assistance immediately.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the coronavirus. If you show any of the symptoms below, it is encourage you stay home and contact your instructor:
-
Fever or chills
-
Cough
-
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
-
Fatigue
-
Muscle or body aches
-
Headaches
-
New loss of taste or smell
-
Sore throat
-
Congestion or runny nose
-
Nausea or severe vomiting
-
Severe cases of diarrhea
If you have been in contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 — isolate and do not enter the classroom.
