Oregon Medical Training, a private career school, offers career training in phlebotomy, EKG and pharmacy. These programs are designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary for their desired medical careers. OMT is a locally owned and operated private career school that is licensed by the Oregon Department of Education's Higher Education Coordinating Commission.
In 1999, Oregon Phlebotomy Training was founded by Mario Pierce. He taught his very first phlebotomy course in Springfield. After growth in popularity in the Eugene-Springfield community, Pierce was determined to expand his school in central Oregon. As classes fill up, Pierce officially changed the name to Oregon Medical Training and opened an additional campus in Bend.
