"It's been a little over a year since I completed your Pharmacy Technician Training class with Oregon Medical Training, and would like to give you an update as to what I've been able to accomplish as a result of your course. I was hired at a Regional Medical Center soon after they did a presentation for us in class. I wouldn't have been able to connect with their pharmacy manager directly if not for this opportunity. Shortly after our course concluded, I passed my national exam on the first try. I also just passed my year anniversary working in the hospital and I love my job here. I've been working primarily in the IV room, and have found that I really enjoy doing sterile compounding. While I was doing my training in the clean room I referred back to the information that we went over in class, plus our lab, and it definitely gave me a step up. I also got my first award, a shining star. I have plans to go back to school in the fall to complete my undergrad, and to start working towards a Doctor of Pharmacy.
